WHAT: We'll be watching the film...
YOUR MOMMY KILLS ANIMALS
"The Nation's Top Domestic Terrorists Have A Soft Spot For Animals"

WHEN: Friday, August 14th,6:00pm
WHERE: The Lucy Parsons Center, 549 Columbus Ave., Boston, MA
DIRECTIONS: http://lucyparsons.org/directions.php

Join us in watching the powerful independent feature film documentary, "Your Mommy Kills Animals". It explores the animal rights movement, from SHAC to PETA, the A.L.F. and the F.B.I.'s declaration that animal rights activists are a greater terrorist threat to the U.S.A. than Al Qaeda. Featuring key figures like Josh Harper and Kevin Kjonaas, with celebrity comment from Jessica Biel, Katherine Heigl, Kaley Cuoco, Joss Stone and James Cromwell. Released in 2007, the film has been acclaimed for not only it's critical analysis of large animal protection organizations, but also it's coverage of the new frontiers of grassroots animal activism.

This film was paid for by the Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF), a front group for the animal testing, restaurant, pharmaceutical, alcohol, and tobacco industries. Filmmakers Curt Johnson was paid to make a documentary critical of PETA. When they produced a film that gave an even-handed portrayal of the animal activist movement, the CCF sued Johnson in an attempt to suppress it's release.
