Cashew Loaf( Nut - Cashew )

Daily Random RecipeINGREDIENTS:2 cups raw cashews 4 slices whole wheat bread 2 T soy sauce 2 T parsley 2 large onions 1/2 t celery seeds 1 t salt 2 cups soy milk METHOD:Grind cashews and bread. Pour milk, mix well. Cook in oiled pan at 350F/180C for 40 minutes.

Herby Stuffing( Condiments - Stuffing )

Daily Random RecipeINGREDIENTS:1 medium onion, chopped finely6 small sticks of celery, chopped1 tablespoon each freshly chopped parsley, sage and thyme6 tablespoons olive oilSmall loaf of granary bread, diced25 grams / 1 ounce each roughly chopped pecans, cashews and brazil nutsSoy sauce or tamari to tasteA little vegetable stock or water to bindMETHOD:In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix well, adding a little stock or water to moisten the mixture. Press the mixture into a greased loaf tin. Bake at 180C/350F for 30-40 minutes. Allow the stuffing to cool a little before turning it out. Cut into slices.

Green Onion Cornbread( Bread - Loaf )

Daily Random RecipeINGREDIENTS:1 3/4 Cups soy milk, rice milk, or other non-dairy milk of choice3 Tablespoons safflower oil1 1/2 Cups cornmeal1 1/2 Cups whole wheat pastry flour4 teaspoons baking powder1 Tablespoon chili powder1/2 teaspoons salt1/2 Cup green onion, thinly sliced1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast flakesMETHOD:Lightly oil (or spray with a light mist of oil) a 9-inch square pan and set aside.In a small bowl or measuring cup, stir together the soy milk and oil, and set aside.In a medium bowl, sift together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, chili powder, and salt. Add the soy milk mixture, along with the remaining ingredients, and stir until just combined.Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.NOTES:Yield: One 9-inch CornbreadRecipe provided by Beverly Lynn Bennett

Corn Bread( Bread - Loaf )

Daily Random RecipeINGREDIENTS:3/4 cup cornmeal1 cup pastry flour3 teaspoons baking powder1 teaspoon salt1/4 cup oil1 cup water or soy milkMETHOD:Mix all the ingredients and place in a hot, oiled skillet. Bake at 180C/350F for 25-30 minutes or until golden.

Pecan Loaf( Nut - Pecan )

Daily Random RecipeINGREDIENTS:2 cups cooked brown rice 4 cups soft whole wheat bread crumbs (jog blender on/off to make) 1 cup very finely chopped pecans or walnuts 1 1/2 cups water 1 medium onion 2/3 cup whole wheat flour 1 t sweet basil 1 1/2 t salt METHOD:Combine first three ingredients in bowl and set aside. Whiz the remaining ingredients in a blender until smooth.Pour whizzed ingredients into bowl with other ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Place in 8 x 8 inch (20 x 20 cm) baking dish, oiled or PAM'ed. Bake at 350F/180C for approximately 60 minutes. Serve hot with peanut gravy or tomato sauce. Quick French Bread( Bread - Loaf )

Daily Random RecipeINGREDIENTS:3 1/2 cups warm water 2 T margarine 3 T sugar 1 T salt 2 T baking yeast 9 cups white flourMETHOD:Mix water, margarine, sugar and salt. Sprinkle yeast on top an let rest for 10 minutes. Whip in 7 cups of flour, then beat in the rest with a spoon. Do not knead. Let rise until double. Punch down and separate into two balls. Flatten each ball into a rectangular shape, then roll into a long loaf. Let them rise on an oiled cookie sheet until almost double. Put a pan of boiling water on the bottom of a 205C/400F oven and bake. After 15 minutes, reduce heat to 180C/350F for about 30 minutes. 5 minutes before bread is done, brush loaves with melted margarine.
